2024 MNACPA Spring Conference – Anti-racism, Inclusion, and Belonging in Higher Ed

The 2024 MN Chapter of the American College Personnel Association (MNACPA) Conference will be held Friday, March 8, virtually through Zoom. This year’s theme is Anti-racism, Inclusion, and Belonging in Higher Ed


Dr. Rassheedah Watts, The Inclusive Community Architect, is an activator, helping organizations and individuals build capacity for stronger connected communities! As a 3 time first-generation college student, she motivates individuals to move from the mental confines of I can’t to I will. She is an award-winning Diversity Strategist, educator, producer of the Diversity Minute televised series, and author of the book How To Be An Ally And Create Inclusion Using The A.C.A. Pillars: A 3-Step Approach To Effective Allyship and her newly released poetic work Black Womb Dialogues.

With over 20 years experience in both the public and private sectors she’s led many organizations in achieving notable firsts in the diversity, equity and inclusion landscape. She was instrumental in leading an organization in achieving its first national diversity award in its 50-year history. In 2020 she helped establish a nationally designated Truth, Racial healing, Transformation Center in the state of Minnesota. 

Dr. Rassheedah’s earned the distinction of recruitment into the United States Speaker Program, showcasing her expertise on the global stage in partnership with U.S. embassies and consulates. She’s delivered impactful presentations on gender equity and inclusion in Pakistan with a special focus on college and university leadership, and addressed racial healing in Scotland, engaging with members of Parliament. Whether on a domestic or international platform, she masterfully elevates important conversations that inspire courageous action toward creating just and equitable communities.
